The panel is 0.9mm thick, which is sturdy enough to stand propped on a shelf. You can mount it on gatorboard or foam board if you want more depth for framing.

Copper is a beautiful material that changes with the light. This painting has been varnished to prevent further oxidation of the exposed metal surfaces.
